Rohit and Kohli's Stellar Partnership

In a recent match, Rohit Sharma, the opener for Team India, expressed his admiration for the unbeaten 168-run partnership he formed with Virat Kohli, describing it as a "fantastic" achievement that came at a pivotal moment in the game.

After struggling in the first two ODIs, which resulted in losses for India, the duo launched a fierce attack against the Australian bowlers while successfully chasing down a target of 237 runs. Rohit scored an impressive 121 not out, while Kohli contributed a solid 74 not out, marking his return to form.

In a video released by the BCCI, Rohit reflected on their partnership, emphasizing the importance of their experience and understanding in navigating the innings after an early wicket.

"It was a fantastic partnership. We hadn't had a 100-run partnership in a while, so it was crucial for the team. Given our situation after losing Gill early, we felt the weight of responsibility, especially with Shreyas absent. We truly enjoyed our time out there, engaging in plenty of conversation. Our long history of playing together helped us understand what was needed at that moment. Our combined experience played a significant role in how we approached the game," Rohit shared.

Following a disappointing performance in Perth, where he scored just 8 runs, Rohit rebounded with a composed 73 off 97 balls. In the final match of the series, he showcased his skills with a remarkable 121 off 125 balls, leading India to a nine-wicket victory.

Discussing his century in the third ODI against Australia, Rohit remarked, "I love playing in Australia. It was the ideal day to score big and help the team succeed. My goal was to bat as long as possible and see how far we could push the game. Sometimes, despite planning, things don’t go as expected. But today, everything fell into place perfectly. Playing in Australia requires careful planning, and I utilized all my previous experiences to guide my performance."

After the match in Sydney, Rohit shared an emotional farewell message on social media, stating, "One last time, signing off from Sydney."
